Privacy Policy for Cosmo Crush

Effective date: 27 August 2026  ·  Last updated: 27 August 2026

This policy explains what Cosmo Crush ("the app", "the game") does with your information. It is written to be read, not to be skimmed past.

Who we are

Cosmo Crush is published by Kenneth Withers ("we", "us"), who is the data controller for the purposes of the GDPR and equivalent laws.

Contact: jeneidix@gmail.com

The game was created by Mohammad Jeneidi. Advertising in the app is served through his Google AdMob publisher account; see "Advertising" below.

The short version

Information stored on your device

The game saves the following in local storage inside the app. It stays on the device, is not backed up to any service we control, and is not readable by us:

There is no way for us to see this data, and no way for us to restore it if you delete the app, reinstall it, or switch devices.

Advertising

The app displays ads from Google AdMob (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), including full-screen ads between games and optional rewarded ads you can choose to watch to continue a run. Ads are served through the AdMob publisher account of Mohammad Jeneidi.

To serve and measure these ads, Google's advertising SDK may collect and process:

Google uses this to select ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, and detect fraud. Google acts as an independent controller for much of this processing. What Google does with the data is described in Google's Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Your choices about ads

In-app purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases of consumable in-game Stardust, the currency used to buy power-ups. These purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see, receive, or store your payment card details, billing address, or Apple ID.

Apple provides us only with aggregated, anonymized sales and payout reporting — how many units of an item were sold in a period — which does not identify individual purchasers. Apple's handling of your purchase is governed by Apple's own privacy policy.

Purchased Stardust is consumable and is recorded only in the on-device save data described above. If you delete the app, purchased Stardust is lost along with the rest of your progress; there is no account and no cloud backup to restore it from. For refunds, contact Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com — we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.

What we do not do

The app does use your device's vibration/haptics for feedback when a planet drops or merges, and loads a webfont from Google Fonts when it starts. Neither involves any data collection by us.

Legal bases (for users in the EEA and UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies:

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a data protection authority.

In practice, we hold no personal information about you at all — there is no account and no server, so we have nothing to look up, export, or delete. You can delete everything the game stores by deleting the app from your device. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, use the Google controls linked above, or contact Google directly.

If you live in California, we do not "sell" or "share" your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising other than through the AdMob personalization you can decline as described above.

If you would like to exercise any right, or simply want to ask what we hold, email jeneidix@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

Cosmo Crush is rated 4+ but is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that threshold), and it is not listed in the App Store Kids Category. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, contact us at jeneidix@gmail.com and we will address it. Parents can restrict advertising tracking on a child's device through iOS Screen Time and the Tracking setting described above.

Data retention and security

Because game data never leaves your device, we retain nothing and there is nothing for us to secure on your behalf. Data retained by Google in connection with advertising is governed by Google's own retention policies.

International transfers

We transfer nothing. Google may process advertising data in the United States and other countries under its own safeguards, described in Google's privacy policy.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for a material change, note what changed. The current version always lives at this URL.
